WILDFLOWERS BY THE LIGHTHOUSE

Wildflowers Too opened the 2016 gallery season with an original exhibit, "Women in Fiber."  The objective of this Well-reviewed show was to explore the varied expressions of fiber art, historically media that have been developed and nurtured by women.  The show featured weaving, woven sculptures, batik, handmade felt and handmade paper. It also included art-to-wear -- hand-blocked and dyed silk kimonos, reversible jackets and vests created from quilted fabric called kantha, eco-printed scarves and hand-felted collars,
