Mosaic Workshops
On summer days you'll find a small group of happy and enthusiastic people in the back yard at Wildflowers by the Lighthouse, working on all manner of creative, fun projects.
Wildflowers is well known for its mosaic workshops where, in the span of a short morning or afternoon, you can create a one-of-a-kind
stepping stone or mirror. And those with a little more time and ambition can create a mosaic garden pillar. The process is easy. All the materials are provided (including instructions), so all you need is a little creativity and a few hours to enjoy a long-honored LBI tradition.
During Summer 2011 we offered 2 other special workshops:
1. Gyotaku, the art of printing using fish or other objects
from nature, ink and rice paper or fabric. |
2. Painted Canvas Table Runners - The process of
painting on canvas to create functional art. |
Workshops are held during the summer months only.
All workshops are held at Wildflowers by the Lighthouse at 410 Broadway in Barnegat Light.
